Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot multidisciplinary system setups, including hardware and software configurations.
• Utilize sophisticated monitoring equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, to ensure system integrity.
• Lead customer success activities for specific accounts, including:
  • Implementing infrastructure and systems to support client success.
  • Managing key customer and partner relationships and supporting strategic opportunities.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for company systems.
• Set up client systems, perform installations, conduct customer training, and deliver technical demonstrations.
• Maintain and operate an on-premises cloud installation, including backup servers, recording servers, and SIP and VoIP technology.
• Engage in customer-facing activities, primarily in remote islands of Indonesia, with travel comprising approximately 30% of the role.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technology field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience working in Information Technology roles.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Integration Engineer, with a focus on networking environments.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience building, deploying, and maintaining virtualization platforms.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in advanced storage configuration roles.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of IT infrastructure, including servers, Windows, OSX, Linux, and Unix-based systems.
• Understanding of cloud networking architectures, including virtual private clouds (VPCs), network security groups, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, including vCenter upgrades and migrations.
• Proficiency in TCP/IP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6 addressing, Ethernet, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, ICMP, ARP, NAT, SIP, VoIP, Bridging, Switching, QoS, and firewalls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. (Note: Strong proficiency in English is mandatory. Please do not apply if your English language skills are not up to standard.)
• Experience in RF engineering, preferably in cellular communications.
• Strong troubleshooting and monitoring skills, including tools such as Fiddler, tcpdump, and Wireshark.
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems, including RedHat, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
• Knowledge in Python and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with major cloud service providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including cloud storage, computing, networking, and security services.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages commonly used in cloud environments, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and data-related issues.
• Skill in creating and maintaining detailed documentation for system configurations, procedures, and service records.
• Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients or internal users. Willingness and ability to respond to issues in a timely manner during off-hours (in the US 9am-5pm Eastern).
• Certifications specific to cloud platforms/networking (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Google Professional Cloud Architect, CCNP/IE, COMPTIA+).

Optional:

• Additional certifications are highly desirable: VMware VCP, AWS, Azure.
• Experience with database administration, setup, and maintenance, including SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with Snowflake or equivalent is a plus.
• Knowledge of data encryption, secure data transfer protocols, and compliance regulations relevant to data security (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Knowledge of storage technologies, including iSCSI, FC, CIFS/SMB, NFS (HPE Nimble/HPE MSA is a plus).
• Experience with cloud monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Google Cloud’s operations suite.
• Understanding of automation and orchestration tools like Terraform, Ansible, Docker, or Kubernetes, which are critical for managing cloud environments efficiently.
